In July of 1923 a 74 foot 6 inch (22.3m) dead Pygmy Blue Whale washed up at Wreck Beach, Harmers Haven. Read more here.
Wreck Bay at Harmers Haven takes its name from a shipwreck event that occurred when the three masted, wooden ship ‘The Artisan’ ran aground on the rock shelf at Harmers Haven during a storm in 1901. Read more here.
